About Us

Young Professionals and Skilled Workers Associaton (YPSWA) was founded in 2010 and is located in the West End of Toronto, ON.

YPSWA is a not-for-profit and federally registered organization and community-based organization which offers a great way for young professionals, skilled workers and apprentices in the Greater Toronto Area to network, socialize and expand their professional horizons. All of our members are between ages 21 and 45.

YPSWA is the first and only professional, social and networking organization for young professionals and skilled workers in Toronto that also has a strong component of advocacy and public awareness as part of its mandate. We host between 1 and 10 events per month and our events range from black tie balls to down and dirty volunteer work to meetings with officials and elected representatives. And although we are not exclusively a singles group, we do offer singles activities. We offer a wide variety of events which will appeal to a wide range of young professionals, whether your interests are networking, learning something new, or finding new relationships – friendship or otherwise.

If you are new to Toronto or just looking to meet new friends or professional contacts, YPSWA events are a great place to meet people. In organizing these events, we aim to give busy young Torontonians the opportunity to try a variety of activities with their fellow young professionals without having to research and plan the activities themselves. We also strive to maintain our number one priority: creating a community for the young professional, skilled workers and apprentices in the GTA.
