Cleaning Marie Curtis Park East Beach

Debris, stones and garbage litter Marie Curtis Park East Beach

Debris, stones and garbage litter Marie Curtis Park East Beach

Marie Curtis Park is a wonderful park situated in southeast end of Toronto. It is home to multiple wild life, as it envelops the banks of Lake Ontario.

Local residents and tourists visit this park as one can see downtown Toronto from there and enjoy summer breeze. Children, youth and just Torontonians enjoy playing there as well as walk their dogs in this park.

Marie Curtis Park East Beach is a sandy beach in remote part of Toronto.

Unfortunately, the beach is not clean, as debris, stones and garbage from lake accumulate on this beach. It desperately needs clean up and debris/stone removal, so that people can enjoy this beach to the fullest.

YPSWA is launching a petition to clean up this beach. This petition later on will be directed to city hall. Our goal is to raise five thousand signatures.

The Mining Project

Young Professionals and Skilled Workers Association encourages young professionals and skilled workers to get involved in the mining industry.

For that reason, YPSWA is launching its project dedicated to the mining industry.  This project is especially meant to help youth and young adults to find jobs and meaningful employment in this industry.

YPSWA is proud to support Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) in promoting awareness about this sector.

Here you can watch a promotional video about PDAC 2013 convention.

You can also see the video by opening the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkJTjeQFaLY&feature=youtu.be.

This convention is an annual event organized by PDAC for the purpose of bringing mining experts, investors and students/youth together. YPSWA supports this effort.
