Montreal – August 11-15, 2014 – President of Young Professionals and Skilled Workers Association (YPSWA), Volodymyr Paslavskyi, attended a tour of the Bombardier Aerospace facility near Montreal, where the Challenger airplane family is assembled.

Mr. Paslavskyi witnessed and discussed the production processes and supply chain used at the facility.

At the same time, the president of YPSWA received professional development certification from McGill University, École de Technologie Supérieure and Centre for Aerospace Professional Education.

“Continuing education is an important career-booster for all young professionals, including young women. Certification from McGill University, École de Technologie Supérieure and Centre for Aerospace Professional Education in a very practical way improves one’s skills and overall understanding of the industry, thus, providing better career opportunities regardless of one’s sex,” said Volodymyr Paslavskyi.

YPSWA encourages young women to get involved in non-traditional areas of work.
